Every glass vial is precleaned and packaged in an ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom, in a box bearing the Class 10K seal. T Vials are made from Type 1 borosilicate glass and work well on PerkinElmer®, Agilent, CTC Analytics, Shimadzu®, Tekmar®, and other headspace autosamplers. Butyl stoppers can be used when PTFE is not required. Butyl/PTFE septa are an economical choice with low background peaks. Molded PTFE/butyl septa offer the tightest seal of all PTFE items, as well as low background peaks. PTFE/silicone septa are excellent for volatiles. Aluminum/silicone septa are also excellent for volatiles, but not suitable for repeat injections. Stoppers and septa with butyl are usable from -40 to 120ºC, PTFE/silicone from -60 to 200ºC, and aluminum/silicone from -60 to 120ºC.
